Visiting Great Grandma

Tomorrow I'm going to the countryside to see Great Grandma! (I was just a baby the last time I was there). I'm excited 'cause I'll be there for a whole week! Unfortunately, Great Grandma doesn't have internet access, so I won't be updating my blog for a while. In the meantime, here's a slideshow of my trip to keep you busy.

Watch out GreatGrandaMa, here I come!
(I hope it doesn't rain)

Riding the bullet train

The other day I went on a bullet train. I loved it! Those suckers go over 300 km/hr! That's even faster than Daddy driving!

Whooooooosh!

Riding the subway

Here I am with Mommy & Daddy on a Tokyo subway. When traveling here, I'm always on the lookout for the best route. In my experience, rail travel in Japan is a bit more challenging than in Canada. For example, here is the subway map of Tokyo compared to Toronto.

I hope my deodorant holds up

Love at first sight

While strolling the beach at Odaiba, I saw her. Her hair glowed in the sunlight. I immediately grabbed Mommy's hand and rushed to her side. I gently drew her close and we kissed. I hope Mei forgives me.

Smooooch..

Little Green Bucket

Remember the little green bucket I used the last time I was in Japan? Well, I used it again! As you can see, I still like to marinate in it (maybe that's why I'm so delicious).

When my brother Andy was my age, he had a favourite bucket too. To see him marinating, click here.

I still fit!

Grandpa's favourite chair

Here I am in Grandpa's favourite chair. Due to reasons beyond my control, I was not able to sit in my favourite chair (Mommy refused to bring it to Japan). Oh well, I guess I'll settle for my 2nd favourite 'chair'.

Hey, what does this button do?

A cool day at Thomas Land

Thomas Land was really cool (in more ways than one). It actually snowed last night! (here's a view from our window). We still had fun though- after all, we're from Canada, Eh? I went on lots of rides, including Harold the helicopter and the Troublesome trucks (my personal favourite). We went on that one 300 times!

Shivering with Thomas and his friends

My Favourite Chair (25th month)

Well here it is, my favourite chair photo for the month of April. Unfortunately I'm not in my favourite chair (it's still in Toronto). I am, however, in my favourite pyjamas. Oh well, 1 out of 2 ain't bad.

Thomas Land!

Today I arrived at Thomas Land! (located in Fuji-Q Highland by Mt.Fuji). It's amazing here!! Everywhere I look I see Thomas and his friends. There's even a real Thomas train!

The best part of getting here was riding a real steam engine! (The worst part was riding an old bus). It took 5 hours, but I made it!

Here's a picture of me in my Thomas Room

A very exciting visit

I'm very excited here 'cause I'm on my way to visit Mei (the daughter of Mommy's best friend). Mei is 4 years old, which is nice 'cause I like older women.

I especially like Mei because of the way she makes me laugh. And the way she holds my hand. In fact, Mei is the very first girl I've ever slept with!

Reunion at Roppongi Hills

Today I had fun at Roppongi Hills. I took the subway there to meet Mommy's high school friends (we had a 'lunch reunion' at Roy's). I never actually met 'Roy', but had a great time anyway.

Afterwards we went to the playground where I went down the world's biggest slide (I guess on one of Roppongi's Hills). It was so much fun, Daddy & I went down over 1,200 times! I hope Daddy will be ok.

Japanese Bath

Every night before bedtime I take a hot japanese bath (ofuro) with Mommy. As I mentioned in this post, baths are very popular in Japan. Actually, so am I.

Thursday 12 April 2007

We made it!

Here I am after schlepping our luggage to the airport . After boarding the plane and figuring out the seatbelt thingie, we were served the world's worst meal. Later, after much tossing and turning, I fell asleep.

In Japan, Grandma & Grandpa met us at the airport (they recognized me from my blog). On the drive home I really enjoyed the Tokyo sights . On arriving, they fed me some rice balls and sent me to bed.

I can't wait for my first full day in Japan when, thanks to jetlag, I awake in 3 hours!

Tuesday 10 April 2007

All packed!

Hooray, we're all packed! Just in time for tomorrow's trip to Japan. Mommy & Daddy are really looking forward to the 13 hour plane ride. I hope they packed lots of stories and games!

(In a totally unrelated topic, here's a picture of me with a duck on my head)

Have you heard the big news? I'm going to Japan!

That's right, you heard it here first- I'm going to Japan! I leave this Wednesday and am going for a whole month (don't worry, I'm bringing Mommy & Daddy with me). The last time I went there I was just a baby. Now that I'm bigger I can do more stuff with Grandma & Grandpa (& GreatGrandma)! I just hope they can keep up to me.

Still riding my little blue dog

Remember how I used to ride my big blue dog? Well I still ride him! Only now I call him my little blue dog and I'm a little less cautious.

(P.S. Happy Easter Weekend!)

Toot toot!

As you know, I've got a one track mind. That's why, every morning after breakfast, I play with my Thomas train set. Then I can get on with my day.

Wednesday 4 April 2007

Dessert!

Here I am enjoying the best part of last night's seder.. dessert!! Of course I ate other stuff like matzah and apples, but nothing was as good as this. Mmmmmmmmm..

Delicious!!

Happy Passover!

Tonight is the first night of Passover. That means I get to eat matzah! To see me eating matzah last year, click here. To see me eating the same piece of matzah this year, click here. (Tastes the same).

Delicious! (not)

He did it!

Ok I admit I did it. I unravelled Mommy's silk ribbon (but only 'cause it's April Fool's Day). To see the video clip of my misadventure, click here.
