Washing the dishes

Here I am helping Mommy with the dishes. She does lots of different things around the house. I haven't figured out what Daddy does yet.

My first attempt at pool

Today I learned how to play pool. As you can see, I haven't quite grasped the concept.

Tomorrow I'll try bowling

Indoor day

Here I am playing inside with Mommy & Daddy. Since it was cold & yucky outside, I decided to spend the whole day with them indoors.

I like cold & yucky days.

Good Karma

Last week we went to Karma's birthday party. Karma is a dog we know (she's a cross between 'Jaws' and the 'Energizer Bunny').

Karma was fun; we liked hanging around her. As you can see, she liked hanging around us too.

Back home

Here I am back home. Even though my trip to Japan is over, I sometimes close my eyes and remember all the fun I had.

Bye Bye Japan

This is a picture of me on the bus to the airport. I'm looking out the window at Grandma and Grandpa, just before the bus pulled away. They looked very sad to see me go. Fortunately they can still see me everyday on my blog.

Great Grandma's table

I'm really going to miss Great Grandma's dining room table. Because it's so low to the ground, it's a lot more fun than the tables in Canada. In this picture you see me playing under the table. I'm glad Daddy's wearing his underwear.

Little green bucket

Here I am 'Splishing & Splashing' in a little green bucket. In Japan, you get washed before you get in the big bath. They must be the cleanest people on the planet!

Bathtime in Japan

Baths are very popular in Japan. Actually they're more like swimming pools. Especially to babies. In this picture, Mommy is using me as a flotation device.

As you can see, Grandma is helping too. To see Grandma bathing me when I was only 2 weeks old- Click Here.

It's Great Grandma!

I finally met Great Grandma! She lives in the country somewhere in Japan (near Godzilla). She was very happy to see me. I guess there aren't many babies where she lives.

In this picture we're playing 'Hide & Seek' (Sssshhhhh, don't tell her where I'm hiding).

Click below to see what else I did at Great Grandma's:
(1) Ate lots of food (2) Then ate more food (3) Paid respects to Great Grandpa (4) Met some relatives
(5) Went shopping (6) Rode the bullet train (7) Went for walks (8) Took long naps, and best of all (9) got to know Great Grandma!

Quality time

Another thing I liked about our trip was that I got to spend so much time with Mommy & Daddy.
As you know, grownups need a lot of attention. Since I wasn't working on my blog all week, I was able to provide it. It was a win-win situation for everyone. Except my fans.

Trick or Treating with Grandma

Oh no, not the pumpkin! Since we were in Japan for Halloween, Grandma took me 'Trick or Sleeping'. Next year, I'll try to stay awake (after all, I'm going to be BLOGZILLA)!

"Trick or ZZzzzzzz"

(P.S. Don't worry, this is the last time you see me as a pumpkin!)

My favourite chair (8th month)

Happy Birthday to ME! Yesterday I turned 8 months old (although I don't feel a day over 7)! Daddy celebrated by taking pictures of me in my favourite chair. When Daddy gets older, I'm going to take pictures of him in his favourite wheelchair.

(I also like my fuzzy blue chair)

It's Grandma!

Here I am playing with Grandma. I haven't seen her since I was a little baby. Now that I'm bigger, I can talk to her. She talks to me in Japanese and I talk to her in baby babbles. Oddly enough, we understand each other.

We finally arrive!

HOORAY, we finally arrived in Japan! In this picture, I'm all bundled up for a walk. It looks like the middle of the day, but really, it's only 3:00 am. Thanks to jet lag, I was able to get an early start to the day. I'm very happy here because Daddy is taking me for a long walk. Daddy wasn't as happy.

On the airplane ..

Here I am entertaining Mommy on the airplane. It was a long trip so I had to keep her and Daddy busy. They tried putting me in a bassinet, but I couldn't sleep. So instead, I let Mommy hold me (the entire trip). We finally arrived in Japan, a day or two later. (To see more pictures, click below).

Tell me another story!

I'm Back!!

Remember me? I'm finally home! Now you can stop looking at my stupid pumpkin outfit. Starting tomorrow, I'll show you pictures of my trip to Japan. It was the best vacation I've ever had! It gave me lots of new memories. I hope I don't lose them like my Daddy.

The picture below was taken in British Columbia. We stopped there on the way to Japan to visit Grandpa's Mommy and Sister (they live in Victoria). I think they liked me. (To see a video clip after we met, click below).

I'm really tired now (it took 21 hours to get back from Tokyo), so I'm going to take a nap. Good night (I'm still on Japan time).
