Going home tomorrow!

Here I am packing for our trip back to Canada (we leave tomorrow)! My Florida vacation went by really fast. I had lots of fun here - my favourite days were beach days (my least favourite were sick days).

I'll miss Florida. But not as much as I miss home.

Fun at South Beach

I had fun at South Beach yesterday. I played, ate at a cafe and drank from a coconut! I also went to the park and tried a JennSwing. I loved it!

Have I told you about the playground next door? I go there almost every day! It's just like my playground in Canada, but with a lot less snow on it!

Taking Mommy to the Beach

Today I walked along the beach with Mommy (we also played in the sand). Afterwards, in the ocean, I liked when the waves hit my knees. I didn't like when it hit my face.

Neck tickles

For some unexplained reason I like to get my neck tickled. Sometimes I'm tickled in restaurants and sometimes in my stroller. Sometimes they're short tickles and sometimes they're painfully long (to see a video clip of a tickle that goes on way too long, click here).

A very sandy beach

There's sand in my sandals! (I guess that's why they call them sandals). After a typical walk along the beach, I like to go for lunch by the water. My favourite part is the the dessert.

Every night I go to sleep with Mommy on one side and Daddy on the other. It's my favourite part of the whole vacation.

When Daddy's not looking, I like to wear his sandals. They're a lot cooler than my sandals. Daddy says that one day, when I grow up, his sandals will be mine! Oh boy!

In the meantime, I think I'll take his ipod.

The view from our balcony

When we look east, we have a beautiful view from our balcony. Unfortunately, the other day, the view (south) was awful. We saw a fire burning next door. Fortunately no-one was hurt.

Seafood dinner

We went to a seafood restaurant last night. When I asked the waiter if he had frogs legs he said "no sir, rheumatism makes me walk this way".

At the amusement park

Today I went to an amusement park! I played games with Mommy and went on rides with Daddy. It was fun! Unfortunately, I couldn't go on any of the grownup rides (like this one that Mommy went on). Maybe that's a good thing.

My Favourite Chair (Not), 22nd month

As you know, every month I get my picture taken on my favourite chair- except for this month! (I couldn't fit it in my luggage). Fortunately I fit my favourite pyjamas!

On the boardwalk

Here I am taking Mommy&Daddy for a walk along the boardwalk (we also walked on the beach).

Afterwards we stopped at a nearby cafe for lunch. I was in a happy mood and laughed the whole time. (Sometimes I laugh like Mommy and sometimes I laugh like Daddy).

My daily swim

Every day, after I get shampoo'd, I go for a little swim in the tub. As you can see, I like taking baths and Mommy likes cleaning them. It's a win win situation!

Oh oh, Daddy caught me climbing on the couch, even though Mommy told me not to climb on the couch. I hope she doesn't turn me in.

Another long day

Today was another long day. I'd tell you about it if I weren't so tired. (Here's a picture of me on the way home).

Sometimes Mommy stares at me for no apparent reason. It creeps me out.

Sometimes Daddy and I like to watch the sunrise from our hammock. When Mommy's nearby she joins us. I like that.

Feeling a little better

Don't worry everyone, I'm feeling a little better today. I just need to rest and get plenty of liquid. I should be back to my normal smiley self in no time.

I'm sick!!

As you can see, I'm feeling really yucky today. I coughed all night and even threw up on myself (that's why I'm wearing different pyjamas in this picture).

Sleeping with Mommy&Daddy certainly helped me feel better. It made them feel better too.

Visiting Grandpa

Here's Mommy & I on Grandpa's balcony. We went to visit him the other day in Florida. While he was outside I put my fingerprints all over his fancy apartment (he has lots of mirrors). I hope he appreciates it. I also watched TV on his fancy couch. I hope my diaper didn't leak.

Another day at the beach

It was such a nice day today, I decided to go to the beach. Of course I took Mommy & Daddy along (and Sharon too)!

It was hot outside so I made sure I had lots to drink. I then took a long walk on the beach and met a new friend. So far this was the best day yet!

Every morning I go outside on our balcony to watch the sun rise. But first I make sure Mommy & Daddy rise.

A very windy day

It was very windy at the beach today (my blue cap kept blowing away so I had to wear my sissy safari hat). Unfortunately, this hat didn't blow away.

P.S. I went into the ocean too! (parts of me anyway)

The end of a long day

Here I am at the end of a long day. Here are some of the things I did:

1. I went to the beach.
2. I went to the mall.
3. I went on a train.
4. I went to a playground.
5. I went to sleep.

I think I need a vacation.

Taking Daddy to the Beach

This morning I took Daddy to the beach! It was my very first time on one so I was a little nervous. I was scared Mommy would come running to clean the sand off my toes.

Throughout our journey to Florida, I was my usual helpful self (I even helped with the luggage). We got to Florida really late though. Mommy was so tired I had no trouble putting her to sleep.

Guess what? Tomorrow I'm leaving to Florida for a whole month! Wow, Mommy & Daddy must really hate Canadian winters!

Don't worry though, I'm bringing my computer with so I can still work on my blog (if I can find an internet connection, otherwise you'll be staring at this entry for the next 30 days)!
