Beach Day!

Mommy & I hit the waves today! The water was really deep too (I'm standing on Daddy's head). Afterwards I built a very impressive sandcastle!!

(P.S. You can call me
Sandy)

Grandpa and me

Here I am cheering up Grandpa. He thought I took a happy pill 'cause I couldn't stop giggling the whole time. I guess he's used to being around Daddy.
Tell me another story Grandpa

Helping with the groceries

Today I helped Mommy carry the groceries (unlike Daddy who helps by eating the groceries). After a while, the basket got heavy, so I came up with a different carrying strategy.

Sorry you can't be here

As you can see, I feel bad you're not here with me in Florida. I arrived on Wednesday and have been busy doing nothing since (Daddy taught me well).

Actually, right after the flight, I went straight to the beach (I like the beach). I also like our balcony (so does Mommy & Daddy). I think I'll stay.

Off to Florida!

Guess what?
Tomorrow I'm going to Florida! (to escape our 10 month winter). As you can see I'm already packed (hat, bathing suit, shovel and bucket (oh yea, and blackberry)). I've got everything I need! (except for a good night's rest).

I'll be gone for a few weeks, so don't wait up for me.

My life as a train engineer

I wonder if this wrench will fix Daddy (Mommy says he has a screw loose).

As you can imagine, I've got many responsibilities as a train engineer. My biggest challenge is keeping the train on track. (Still, it's better than my other modes of transportation).

Happy Birthday Jason!

Today my brother is 21 years old! (He was a lot younger in this picture). As a matter of fact, EVERYONE was a lot younger then (except for me since I wasn't born yet).

Back then, blogs weren't even invented yet. In fact, most people didn't even have computers! (except for Daddy). Oh well, we have blogs NOW, which means I can tell the whole world:
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASON"!

Back from Niagara Falls!

I just got back from Niagara Falls! I stayed at a humongous waterpark called Great Wolf Lodge! (I've been there before). They have the biggest slides I've ever seen! After a little coaxing from Mommy, I went down all by myself! The water was cold, but I survived! (Mommy was cold too, but I warmed her heart).

Then I tackled the wavepool. The waves were so big they had whitecaps! (Fortunately, Mommy rescued me). Then we played some basketball (ready - aim - shoot!) and went whitewater rafting. By the end of the day, I was exhausted!

I really had a ball at Great Wolf Lodge. I'm already planning my next trip to the Himalayas!

Look what I got for my birthday!

Look what Jason got me for my birthday- a really big box!! (He must've bought it at a "big box store"). It's just what I wanted! Now Daddy can build me another fort.

My Favourite Chair (3 years old today)!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me! Believe it or not, today I'm three years old! (it seems like I've spent the last 3 years in my FAVOURITE CHAIR)!

Since it's such a special birthday, I've decided to take the rest of the week off and head to Niagara Falls! (I leave today, return on Friday). I hope Daddy brings a barrel!

Daddy's home!

Just kidding, that's not Daddy.. it's Goobio, the magical clown! He came to my house yesterday for my birthday party! (Mommy invited him to entertain me and my friends). I even helped Goobio with his act! [here's a short clip].

Afterwards, we went upstairs for a snack. It was delicious! Mommy was in charge of the food (she had a little help), and Daddy was in charge of decorations (there must have been a sale on balloons). Finally they brought out my cake and sang "Happy Birthday" to me. American Idol it wasn't. [here's a video clip].

Alas, all good things must come to an end. As I watched the guests leave, I realized I shouldn't think of the past, but rather, the presents!

Sharon!

Remember Sharon? She and Maribeth came to visit me! That made me very happy. After telling them all my stories, we had a tug 'o war (then we played some more). And finally, the best part- they gave me birthday gifts! (ssssssshhh, don't tell anyone, but I'm going to be 3 years old soon)!

You remember meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Playdate!

One of my schoolmates came over to play with me. As you can see, we had lots of fun! I showed him all my toys; I even shared my favourite ones with him (with a little encouragement from Mommy). It was so much fun I've decided to make everyday a playday!
Won't YOU come and play with me?

Come play with us!

Bathtime!

As you can see, I love bathtime* (I take one twice a day, in-between hand washings). If it weren't for school, I'd probably soak here all day!

*Washing takes 2 cycles:
1. the wash-cycle
2. the rinse-cycle

Spaghetti!

There's nothing I like more then slurping a big plate of spaghetti! Unfortunately, more of it ends up on me then in me. Since I learn by example, perhaps I should stop watching Daddy eat.

Oh well, maybe next time I'll try fish!
